For successful Project Implementation
Project Management Overview
Manage, plan, execute and coordinate with client and designer for all work and finishes for the successful completion of the project. Preparing and advising the Client’s Project Team on the Project Program Maintaining and regularly up-dating the detailed construction program for the project. Monitoring progress of design release, working drawings, material supplies and reporting the same to the Client’s Project Team.
- Enter into and drive award of Nominated Sub Contractors in sufficient time to enable the project to achieve the planned completion dates.
- Ensure that all items of work is carried out according to the Project Specification, using materials, goods and workmanship of the quality and standards specified.
- Provide continual supervision of the project and perform and provide everything necessary for the organization, management and completion of the project.
- Ensure that the project is carried out in accordance with the contract documents.
Project Management Details
1- Service during Pre-Construction Period
• Preparing and advising the Client’s Project Team on the Project Program.• Preparing material and component flows and identifying those which require advance ordering and processing.
• Advising on the practical implications of proposed drawings and specifications.
• Formulating and agreeing construction methods with the Client Project team and advising on ‘Build ability’
• Advising on the provision and layout of site facilities and services to be provided or secured by the contractors for facilitating their works.
• Preparing a detailed Construction Program for the Project.
2- Services during Construction Period
• Maintaining and regularly up-dating the detailed construction program for the project.• Preparing and regularly updating material and component flows and advising on priorities for ordering and processing.
• Recommending and organizing suitable replacement or identifying and reinforcing resources for project completion.
3- Services during Pre-Construction and Construction Period Off-Site
• Monitoring progress of design release, working drawings, material supplies and reporting the same to the Client’s Project Team.• Making regular visits to the work places of the suppliers to inspect Quality, Progress and delivery in relation to the detailed construction program and reporting to the Client’s Project team.
• Reporting regularly to the Client Project Team on progress and technical aspects of all contracts.
4- Site Management
• Establishing on site all necessary management personnel with full responsibility to manage the project in close liaison with the Client’s Project Team.• Carrying out site survey at proper intervals to obtain accurate on-site measurements to incorporate in the shop drawings.
• Preparing & coordinating with other trades in the preparation of workable shop drawings to achieve the accurate setting out and thereby achieve the quality & precision during the installation phase.
• Proper detailing of all items/ trades and to have utmost care in detailing & achieving the interface between various trades.
• Setting out of the project Interiors in accordance to design.
• Monitoring the performance of detailed construction program to enable corrective action to be taken to prevent stoppages and delays.
• Supervising the production of all site work and ensuring the necessary quality and prompt replacement of defective work in accordance with the contract.
• Securing the prompt remedying of all defects after practical completion of the works and at the end of the defects liability period.
• Ensuring that the site is run in a clean, proper and efficient manner having due regard to the occupation of premises adjacent to or near to the site, that the working
areas are kept clean during the progress of the work and that the debris is removed from the site as it arises and at the completion of the project.
• Establishing with the Client’s project Team any requirements of the Client for partial procession, sectional completion and coordinating to effect suitable sequence of completion.
• Reporting on physical progress of the construction and the offsite work in the format and with the frequency acceptable to the Client’s Project Team.
• Securing provision of record drawings as required by the contract.
• Arranging and keeping records of site meetings as required by the Client’s Project Team
• Project Monitoring and Reporting Formats: We do following project specific requirements of reporting system as may be applicable for particular projects.
• Collaborating with the Quantity Surveyor in the settlement of the final accounts of NSC and Suppliers.
• Setting out of the project Interiors in accordance to design.
• Monitoring the performance of detailed construction program to enable corrective action to be taken to prevent stoppages and delays.
• Supervising the production of all site work and ensuring the necessary quality and prompt replacement of defective work in accordance with the contract.
